  • If you have an infant starting, please provide a daily schedule to help us know your infant’s needs

What to Expect:

Children are provided with 2 nutritious snacks and a nutritious meal throughout the day, served age appropriate size and food. If the children cannot eat what is being served they will be asked to bring a nutritious alternative. Children get to sit an engage with their peers and educators as a family.

The children will be presented with activities throughout the day that will help them grow in all areas of development (social, cognitive, language, physical, creative and spiritual). The children will get to explore outdoors multiple times a day (weather permitting).

Staff will follow the child’s routine of naptimes and bottle feedings.

Staff will help you feel welcome and keep you updated throughout the day with Himama and personal communication when children are picked up.

All staff will follow proper hand washing and toy washing procedures set out by The Child Care Act, 2014 and The Child Care Regulations, 2015.Toy washing is completed frequently and daily.

Children will be taught quality hand washing procedures. Hand washing will be done multiple times throughout the day and as needed.

Children are provided with 2 nutritious snacks and a nutritious meal throughout the day. Children get to sit an engage with their peers and educators as a family.  Children are learning to serve themselves with help and to try all food offered.

The children will be presented with activities throughout the day that will help them grow in all areas of development (social, cognitive, language, physical, creative and spiritual). The children will get to explore outdoors multiple times a day (weather permitting).  Children will get the chance to take walks, run, jump and climb. This is a perfect place for children to explore and get messy.  At the centre we love and benefit from messy play and encourage children to join in with all messy play presented.

Please be mindful that even though we try and use materials that are washable, sometimes things happen.

The children will get to experience hands on adventurous play.  They will get opportunities to cook/ bake, use age appropriate tools, get muddy, etc.

Children will have a nap/ rest after the lunch routine. Staff will sit with the children and rub backs to help them fall asleep.

Children will be changed regularly throughout the day and as needed. Staff will assist in toilet training as needed.

Staff will help you feel welcome and keep you updated throughout the day with Himama and personal communication when children are picked up.
