Infant Program

Ages:

  • 6 Weeks to 18 Months

Ratios

  • 6 Children and 2 Full Time Educators (3 children: 1 adult)

Daily Routine

Between 6-8:30 am children are dropped off and from 7:30-8:30 older infants will be outside (weather permitting).

8:30-9:00 am- A nutritious snack is served.

9:00-11:30 am- During the morning the children will be presented with developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities to help them grow in all areas of development (social, cognitive, language, physical, creative and spiritual).  The children will also have the opportunity to explore their outdoor environment (weather permitting).

11:30 am- A nutritious lunch is served.

12:00- 2:30pm- In the afternoon the children will be presented with developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities to help them grow in all areas of development (social, cognitive, language, physical, creative and spiritual).  The children may also have the opportunity to explore their outdoor environment (weather permitting).

2:30 pm- A nutritious snack is served.

3:00-6:00 pm- Staff will continue to provide learning opportunities for the children.  There will be many times in the children’s day that they will also have interactions through stories and songs.

Throughout the day staff will follow each child’s routine of naptimes and bottle schedule.
